How to Sell

Whether your auction is large or small, we have the expertise to help you sell everything!

 

At Rafter T Auctions, we host a variety of auctions, from individual items to full-scale business or personal liquidations. Take advantage of our convenient selling options at our location or yours. We are now accepting consignments.

 

Our typical auctions include a wide array of items, such as business liquidations, outdoor power equipment and tools, personal belongings, recreational gear, restaurant and industrial equipment, and much more.

 

Here's how the process works:

 

PERSONAL CONSULTATION:

- We'll evaluate your assets and understand your objectives.

- We'll answer any questions you may have.

- We'll discuss the timeline and the auction location, whether it's our site or yours.

 

 AUCTION SETUP:

- Our professional Rafter T Auctions team will arrange your assets to maximize auction success.

- We'll create detailed descriptions, photos, and videos.

         *To keep drop off times at a minimum you are encouraged to have a detailed list of the items to be sold. This list could be emailed ahead of time or accompany you at drop off.

- For on-site auctions

- We'll create detailed descriptions, photos, and videos.

 

MARKETING and ADVERTISING:

- We'll identify the target audience.

- We'll utilize our marketing tools, TV, PRINT, WORD of MOUTH, and INTERNET, to create a tailored marketing campaign.

 

OPEN FOR BIDDING:

- The marketing campaign is launched and the bidding goes live!

- We'll regularly update the auction site and respond to bidder inquiries.

- Our bidder base is continuously growing.

 

INSPECTIONS:

- We offer public inspections of your assets; bidders are encouraged to come in person and “look before they bid.”

- These can be conducted by appointment or during office hours, facilitated by Rafter T Auctions.

 

BIDDER PAYMENTS & REMOVAL:

- We'll arrange for scheduled pickups and oversee the removal of items.

- The payment process will be managed on-site.

- Our Rafter T Auctions staff will handle all transactions.

 

SETTLEMENT PROCESS:

- We'll process the funds from the sale.

- You'll receive the results of the auction, along with the payment due to you as the seller.

  • Kindly note that we reserve the right to decline any items brought in, even if they are listed as "OK." Our goal is to sell high-quality items and we aim to curate a selection that appeals to a wide range of buyers.

 

  • It is essential to disclose relevant information about the item at the time of drop-off so that we can accurately describe it to our bidders. This includes details such as whether the item originated from a smoking environment, if there have been any repairs or replacements, or any other pertinent information that may affect its usability.
